ABOUT ME

My journey started in 2020 when I first set foot on a paddle board and immediately knew it was my sport. 

Soon after, I bought my first paddle board and started exploring rivers and coastlines whenever possible.

I began sharing SUP Spots on Instagram, documenting amazing places anyone can find right here, up North, on our doorstep. I combined my love of stand up paddle boarding with my career as an Ecologist, writing about the local wildlife spotted in places you can easily and safely explore from a paddle board.

Over the years, I gained more experience, visited wilder places and the benefits to my well-being became apparent. I could slow down, connect to my mind, body every time I set out. I wanted everyone to experience this feeling.

In 2022 I started my SUP training journey and completed SUP Instructor and SUP Safety and Rescue qualifications as well as completing Level 3 Awards in Mental Health, Outdoor and Paedriactic First Aid. I have also continued my professional development training journey and completed courses in adult and child safeguarding, neurodiversity awareness, diversity, inclusion & equality awareness, paddle sport fitness and disability awareness. 

I am passionate about helping people from all walks of life, age and body type gain confidence and tools so they can paddle safely on the water.
